After you buy the Starter Kit, there is no other obligation to buy anything. If you don't meet your minimum sales, you simply aren't active anymore. There is no need to do anything or notify anyone.
You are not required to sell to others. If you meet your minimum sales requirements, you will remain an active consultant. Some people who sign up want to enjoy the discount on their own purchases & are commonly called hobby consultants. For those interested in building their business, it is an exciting time to get in on the ground floor!
Design Team Freedom
You can continue to participate in design teams for other stamp companies & post projects for other companies on your blog. The only thing you cannot do is be on a design team or be a consultant for another home-based stamp company such as CTMH or Stampin'Up. Stamp companies that are not home party based are just fine, as are home party based companies that don't sell stamps, like Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple etc.
