Day 2 of the Twelve Days of Christmas

Image
Hi Friends, Today I have for you, a One Sheet Wonder to create 10, yes 10 Christmas Cards from one sheet of 12x12 Designer Paper or double-sided printed paper. This is not my idea; it is one I found on Glenda Calkins blog. She also has a you tube video on how to make the cards I'm showing you.  I made 2each of three of the fun folds, 1 ea of 2 different fun folds, and 2 regular cards. Here is the template I used . This comes from Glenda's Calkin's Blog....Thank you Glendađź’– What's different from her cards is that I chose to stamp sentiments on the inside of my cards so I used two Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up...  Supplies I Used: Designers Series Paper I used, Peaceful Prints, use what you have and match your cardstock to the paper. I'm just showing you what I used. Hi Friends, Come along with me for some fun... I thought for the our first project we could do a   Ghiradelli chocolate treat holder! This little matchbook-style box holds two chocolate squares and is easy to put together. These are fun to give out to cashiers and just about anybody when your out and about doing your errands and it's sure to put a smile on their face. My Elf says "this is the season of jolly and Falalala"! You can use any color cardstock I used Blushing Bride because it matched my designer paper. I used products from Stampin'Up. Ghirardelli Chocolate Treat Holder Measurements and Details:   Blushing Bride Cardstock: 10” x 3”  On the long side, score at 3-1/4” 6-1/2” and 7-1/4”  Die cut a 2-1/2” x 1-1/8” Stitched Rectangle from the Blushing Bride cardstock, leaving a 1/4” strip of cardstock between the die cut rectangle and the edge. (see photo below) You will also need... Basic White Card stock: 2-3/4” x 3”   Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP: 2-5/

What have I Been Up To?

Hi Friends, Well it's been a long time since I've been here on my blog. The reason being I lost my love of crafting. I've been struggling for awhile and even though I've been still purchasing all my favorite crafting products, in hopes of regaining my love for paper crafts and stamping, the truth is all I'm doing is accumulating stuff and still not making anything. So I've decided to give up direct selling completely. I haven't done classes for a very long time, nor do I sell products, I stayed in as a hobbiest and bought for myself meeting quotas to stay active. This is where I'm at right now. This blog is to help me get back to crafting for me. Come along if you like, if not, that's ok too. I have recently started to make some cards to send this year for Christmas. In the next few days I will begin posting some of the cards I've made. I will also start removing things from my blog that are of no use. This is now my hobby blog, where I can po

My First CM Haul

I thought instead of posting dozen of pictures of all the products I just got in my very first CM Haul, I would create this little video. Do you think I have enough to get started? Well with the sub zero weather coming this weekend and more snow on the way, I hope to have something to share with all of you very soon. I am doing a lot of learning including this short video I just shared. So that saying Never to Old to Learn Something New is true! Trust me on that one. Have a fabulous weekend and do something that makes you happy, Sandyđź’“

Why I Signed Up with Creative Memories and so Can You!

Hi Friends, It's been a while since I've been here and I'm not going to even lie. I was caught up in trying to sell products for direct sales companies and it just wasn't working. The bottom line is I love to create not sell. With this being a New Year, I decided to quit direct sales and start over just doing what I want. I love products from all different companies and I do use them but couldn't share because it wasn't "their product". Which brings me to my most reason decision and WHY I decided to do it. Actually I have several reasons. Who doesn't like a discount, I know I do. So I pay retail for what I want and depending on how much I spend depends on my coupon so to speak, Meaning I can get up to 40% off depending on where I am on their scale. The beauty of it is when you hit certain milestones you maintain that commission. For an example I'll use me. I want to start scrapbooking my grandchildren so I needed supplies...I went to the CM s
