Cottage Bloom

Hi Friends...
Happy Sunday, even though the day is rainy and dreary here, it's the perfect day to craft, stamp and create.  So today I thought I would share a card made with the new Cottage Bloom Die Set just released in the new 2018/19 Catalog and Inspiration book, which you view in my side bar. The die set reminds me of daisy's and with a little flower shaping they take on a 3 dimensional look...
I used a cushioned mat and my journey bloom tool with the stylus attachment. Flip the blooms over to the backside and with the stylus pull from the tip of each petal to the end of each petal, once completed the flower will look like a cup, flip over to the front side and in the center with your stylus go in a circular motion and your done. Do this for each die cut flower. Stack off setting each flower and glue together. I layered 3 for the first flower using, the largest, medium and next size down, and for the second flower I used the second largest and next size glued together and put aside, than made a second one using the two smallest and glued together off-setting each layer, than glued the two sets together making a 4 layer flower. I used Pomegranate Splash and our newest color Haystack Cardstock for each flower and Haystack for card base, Whip Cream for layering mat, strip of licorice and strip of printed paper from the Cozy Prints paper stack. The sentiment is from Spread Love stamped in Pomegranate Splash.

Step it up by adding some foliage behind the flowers, I used licorice and mirrored c/s and bloom benefit die (poppy bud die set) that you can get FREE with a $50 order...Shop here

I used the colors above because I wanted to get a start on some fall cards...I kept it simple using the flowers as a focal point...love to hear what you think!

Be creative today,
