Day One of the Twelve Days of Christmas...Join me Won't You?

Hi Friends,

Come along with me for some fun... I thought for the our first project we could do a Ghiradelli chocolate treat holder! This little matchbook-style box holds two chocolate squares and is easy to put together.

These are fun to give out to cashiers and just about anybody when your out and about doing your errands and it's sure to put a smile on their face. My Elf says "this is the season of jolly and Falalala"!

You can use any color cardstock I used Blushing Bride because it matched my designer paper. I used products from Stampin'Up.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Treat Holder Measurements and Details:
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock: 10” x 3”
  • On the long side, score at 3-1/4” 6-1/2” and 7-1/4”
  • Die cut a 2-1/2” x 1-1/8” Stitched Rectangle from the Blushing Bride cardstock, leaving a 1/4” strip of cardstock between the die cut rectangle and the edge. (see photo below)

You will also need...
  • Basic White Card stock: 2-3/4” x 3”
  • Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP: 2-5/8” x 2-7/8”
  • Wonderful Snowflakes, Pearl Basic Gems and Silver Trim
  • Basic White Cardstock (inside box): 2-7/8” x 1-1/8”, stamp sentiment and tree in Blushing Bride ink
  • Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares
  • By looking at the next 2 pictures you should be able to follow how to decorate or do your own thing. Love to see what you do. All you need to do is join my facebook group and share. You can join here

this is pretty clear, stamp sentiment and image of your choice, I used Whimsical Trees, you guessed it Stampin'Up!  Seal top to right below score line so it can close.

put your ribbon or cording on box and tape down make sure you can wrap around box and tie a bow. I just used scotch tape to hold in place on front before adding layers of cardstock Than add your layers and add snowflake with a dimensional. Add your pearls and your done.

I hope you enjoyed day 1 of the 12 days of Christmas and have a beautiful day,

Sandy
